The Qgar platform can be installed in three ways:
For Fedora Linux users, a binary distribution using RPM is provided. As a matter of fact, this distribution should also work on most Linux distributions supporting RPM, such as Mandrake or SuSE, although it has not been tested.
Another format available is the DEB package. Debian and Ubuntu users are the main audience, although any distribution able to work with DEB format can be used. Keep in mind the tests were made only with Ubuntu.
Users of other Linux distributions may either try the RPM or DEB installation if their OS is compatible, or may install the platform from its sources.
